Negotiations Update - Paraeducators and Secretaries

Both teams concluded their last negotiations session without a tentative agreement. In trying to schedule over the summer, July was very complicated with vacations and AFT convention. Therefore, both groups will resume negotiations in August. Should either negotiations results in a tentative agreement prior to the start of a new school year, there will be no vote on that contract until at least the first day of school. Scheduling votes in the summer is complicated, especially will people taking vacations or are away. I want to make sure everyone who wants to vote as a chance. I will send updates in August as they are available.
