2022 NTU Spring Election
The 2022 NTU Election will be held virtually April 11th - April 14th.
All members must register to vote! Click here to register. Registered votes will receive a link from BallPoint as we get closer to April 11th.
Executive Board positions up for election
President - 2-year Term
Secretary - 2-year Term
Member-at-Large (1) - 2-year Team
To be considered for an Executive Board position, you must submit a Candidate Profile Sheet and meet requirements (see Election Forms). Candidate Profile Sheets are due by Friday, March 11th at Noon to Terry Freeman (freemant@nashuatu.org).

2022 AFT Convention
The 2022 AFT Convention will take place in July. Delegates will be elected by the membership in April. For more information on eligibility and for the Convention Candidate Profile, visit https://www.nashuatu.org/election-information/2022-convention. Convention Candidate Profile Sheets are due by Friday, March 11th at Noon to Terry Freeman (freemant@nashuatu.org).

Grievance Procedure
Grievance Procedure
All four contracts outline the Grievance Procedure in Article 3. For the most part, all four contracts share the same language with some minor exceptions - mainly where some of the Grievances are sent during the Step process. The first question you should ask yourself - "is this grievable? Was part of my contract or a POPPs policy violated?" If the answer is yes, or you are unsure, your first step should be to contact your Building Representative. We have a team that works together with the Building Representatives to make work with you, and to make sure the process is followed. For more information on the Grievance Process please consult your contract or visit the NTU website.

Our teaching standards set high expectations for student learning, whether it is in mathematics, science, or history. Join AFT national trainers and members Kimberly Bigelow and Jean Hribar to explore five research recommendations to improve students’ reading comprehension in the content areas.
Available for one-hour of PD credit. A certificate of completion will be available for download at the end of your session that you can submit for your school's or district's approval.
