Monday, April 11th immediately following the Public Hearing – Budget Review Committee
Tuesday, April 12th at 7:30pm, City Hall – Second Reading of the Resolution at the Board of Aldermen and vote on the contract
I am looking for members to join me on April 11th at City Hall. I am hoping that the public hearing is quick, many of them are and then they roll right into the next meeting. I am concerned about having some naysayers show up and speak poorly about teachers "who didn't do anything" during remote learning. We all know that isn't true, but some people truly believe it. I am hoping we can fill the Aldermanic Chambers will our NTU blue. If anyone is willing to speak at the meeting, that would be appreciated as well.Â
All the meetings on the 11th and 12th will be at City Hall in the Aldermanic Chambers on the second floor. Those meetings are also available in Nashua on Channel 16 or can be streamed live at https://www.nashuanh.gov/823/Government-TV-16-Live-Stream.
Last week, we finally reached a tentative agreement for our Food Service Workers. We are finalizing all the documents. Once that is completed, I will send out the information about the tentative agreement as well as information about the ratification meeting.Â

Crossover Happy April! April means a few things. It means we can hopefully start to open windows; it means the days continue to get warmer and it means that legislative “crossover” is done. All the bills that are going to make their way from the House to the Senate and vice versa have done so and now those bodies will begin work on them. The time from crossover to the end of session will happen quickly. By May 5th, just over a month from now, all bills must be acted on by the House and Senate. As we get closer, we will go into the committee of conference process that happens after the 5th for bills that have been amended but for now it is clear that things will happen quickly.
