New Benefits from AFT
LifeStation - Medical Alert System
Available to all AFT Members, Active and Retired
LifeStation is a medical alert system that offers its users and their families the peace of mind of knowing emergency help can be quickly called. The AFT, working with Global Affinity Services, has secured a rate of $18.95 for the basic service, and $27.95 for the mobile service with GPS tracking. This is a $3.00 per month savings over the publicly available rate for the basic service and $4.00 per month on the mobile service. LifeStation services are highly rated; it’s a New Jersey based company offering 24/7/365 protection to users and a U.S.-based call center. UnionPlus All-In-One Card
Available to all AFT Members, Active and Retired
This is a pre-paid debit card that is not attached to a traditional checking account. The user must add funds–either through payroll deduction, a transfer from another account or by adding cash–in order to use the card. It’s perfect for those who don’t want or can’t get a traditional bank account or credit card but want the convenience of paying with plastic. For more information, visit https://aft.unionallinone.com

Masks at School
Right now, the City of Nashua has a city-wide mask ordinance in place. The Nashua School District is also requiring all students and staff (with medical exceptions) to wear masks while at school. Please be advised that you are expected to wear a mask while at school (with a few exceptions).
Stay Home if You Don't Feel Well or Have Symptoms
Staff are reminded to stay home if they don't feel well or have COVID symptoms, even if they are vaccinated.
Free PD Opportunities
There are free, on-demand webinars on a variety of topics available on ShareMyLesson. ShareMyLesson is a free resource with major contributions from AFT. For more information or to register for free, visit www.sharemylesson.org.
Have an idea for the Just for Fun section? Send it to Adam (president@nashuatu.org).
Houses
Well, skiing isn't as popular as the beach or the lake. Beach houses were selected 52.6% of the time while 41.4% of you want a lake house. I myself want one on a lake near a ski mountain. The "other" answers included:
Condo in NYC
Penthouse somewhere awesome
All the Above
Wooded Cabin
Lake house in the mountains
Cinderella's Castle at Disney World
Florida House
Sedona
Mountain Cabin
Mt. Washington Cog Railway
Recently, the New Hampshire Executive Council approved a loan for the Mt. Washington Cog Railway to upgrade the rail. I have been to the top of Mt. Washington, but I drove in the car. You couldn't pay me enough to get on the railway. How about you? Have you or would you ride up to the top of Mt. Washington on the Cog Railway?
